Electrical Installation Manager – Solar PV

We’re recruiting an Electrical Installation Manager for a growing renewable energy specialist, leading Solar PV projects across the UK. This is a great opportunity to take ownership of installation teams, drive high standards, and play a key role in the transition to Net Zero.

The Role

• Oversee and manage Solar PV electrical installations from start to finish.

• Lead, mentor, and develop a team of installation engineers.

• Ensure compliance with design specifications, regulations, and health & safety standards.

• Collaborate with design, planning, and compliance teams to ensure timely delivery.

• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during installation and commissioning.

About You

• 5+ years’ experience in electrical installations, including 2+ years in a supervisory/managerial role.

• Strong technical knowledge of Solar PV systems (inverters, switchgear, cabling, protection systems).

• Proven track record delivering large-scale projects on time and to high standards.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Qualifications

• City & Guilds 2365, NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation, or equivalent (essential).

• 18th Edition IET Wiring Regulations (essential).

• SMSTS / NEBOSH (advantageous).

• Full UK driving licence required.
