Job Opportunity: Junior Solar PV, EV, and LED Design Engineer

Are you passionate about shaping the future of sustainable energy solutions? We’re seeking a dynamic individual to join our team as a Junior Solar PV, EV, and LED Design Engineer. In this role, you’ll collaborate closely with seasoned engineers, contributing to the design and development of cutting-edge solar PV and EV systems for commercial applications.

Qualifications:

  • Hold a degree in electrical engineering, Renewable Energy, or a related field.
  • Demonstrate a strong commitment to renewable energy and sustainability.
  • Possess familiarity with solar PV, EV, and LED technologies and design principles.
  • Proficiency in design software (e.g., PVsol, Helioscope, Solaredge Designer, Trimble).
  • Essential AutoCAD proficiency.
  • Basic comprehension of electrical systems.
  • Effective communication skills for collaborative teamwork and client interaction.
  • Meticulous and capable of managing multiple projects.
  • Adaptability to a fast-paced learning environment.
  • Any relevant internships, coursework, or projects related to Solar PV, EV, and LED are beneficial.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Conduct thorough site assessments for solar PV, EV, and LED designs.
  2. Collaborate on initial designs and layouts with cross-functional teams.
  3. Utilize industry-standard software for solar PV system modeling and simulation.
  4. Assist in creating technical drawings, specifications, and documentation.
  5. Conduct shading analysis and system sizing for optimized solar PV designs.
  6. Develop LED layout drawings and contribute to cost estimation processes.
  7. Assist in project management tasks and liaise with suppliers, contractors, and clients.
  8. Participate in on-site visits during installation to ensure design implementation.
  9. Stay informed about industry trends, technological advancements, and regulations.
  10. Contribute to continuous improvement in design processes.
