Home-Based Role: You will be based from home, attending sites around Chelmsford and surrounding.

The Role:

As an Electrical Engineer specializing in Engine Controls and Instrumentation, you will play a crucial role in carrying out routine maintenance, fault-finding, and defect rectification on HV/LV electrical equipment.

Your work will contribute to the optimal functioning of industrial and process equipment, including boilers, turbines, switchgear, starters, VFD’s, pumps, fans, motors, drives, and control systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Remote technical support to field engineers
  • Routine Maintenance
  • Fault Finding
  • Control Systems
  • Covering multiple sites across the region
  • Call out & Overtime

Requirements:

  • Qualified Engineer – With a HNC level qualification or above.
  • Strong electrical knowledge – Experience in Electrical, controls and instrumental works
  • Passionate about the renewables sector.
  • Willingness to do overtime & participate in call-outs.
